About the Conference: AASCU’s Council of State Representatives, which has consolidated with AASCU’s Policies and Purposes Committee, will gather in Washington, DC on April 11 through April 13, 2018 to begin the process of formulating the Association’s annual Public Policy Agenda and while a formal agenda is still forthcoming, the meeting will also include hearing from Washington experts on federal higher education policy and budget proceedings, as well as meeting with key lawmakers.
Hotel Fees: This year, to manage and minimize costs to meeting participants, AASCU is making hotel reservations on behalf of participants. This will save participants the 14.8 percent D.C. sales tax (exactly $44.26 per night).
