This webinar will illustrate some of the practical uses of Chinese characters in the everyday lives of Chinese people and give a history of the creation and development of Chinese characters from the earliest oracle bone script to modern writing. It will also include a discussion with a China Studies Institute alumna, who will share her experiences with the program. A Q&A segment will follow the presentation and discussion.
