Managing the Stresses of COVID-19

This leadership development presentation encourages participants to: (1) remain aware of the preventative efforts in order to decrease chances of acquiring the coronavirus; (2) be aware of potential signs of depression and other changes in behavior among yourself, friends, and family members and; (3) understand the impactful purpose of a positive perspective for the future. We are constantly hearing about the importance of wearing masks, social distancing, avoiding crowded places, reducing/ delaying travel plans and washing our hands.  Human beings need some type of interaction in order to thrive and survive.  A sense of “belonging” is a vital part of Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs.  One way in which we can “thrive” in this unprecedented season is by changing our perspective.   This global “pause” in our world has caused us to take an introspective look at ourselves to determine what is most important in our lives.
